We believe in being an ally for people living with HIV and chronic health disparities by aiding them with understanding the social determinants of health and being a unified collective voice speaking truth to power about issues that directly impact communities in the South.  CAARAC’s philosophy is that allyship is the practice of emphasizing social justice, inclusion, and human rights to advance the interests of LGBTQIA communities, people of color, and other oppressed or marginalized groups.  We accomplish this directive through HIV testing, policy advocacy, leadership programs and community organizing.
